Comparing to previous generations, the barriers to enter into the real estate is higher for the millennials even though millennials are giving utmost priority for owning a home. In 2018 a survey conducted by Bank of America, denotes that owning a home is a top priority for the millennials and getting married and having children fell lower in the list. Millennials prefer spacious rooms and kitchen for their homes. They are more interested in open floor plans where kitchen, dining and living areas are connected. Size of the kitchen is important as it is one of the gathering point of any family who spend time in there. People are trying to return to nature like never before and want to connect with nature in every possible way to get rid of their monotonous and hectic scheduled lifestyle.
